SCRANTON, PA — Students at a Northeastern Pennsylvania elementary school are being moved to a different building because of mold, according to The Times Leader.
Scranton School District officials are moving more than 200 students out of John Audubon Elementary School after water damage led to the mold problem, the article stated.
Audubon''s lower level had been closed for a week after air tests showed unsafe levels of mold, the article noted.
According to the article, third-party testing showed the upper levels were safe, but the district decided to shut down the entire building for cleaning and repairs.
