CINCINNATI — In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Cintas Corporation held its first ever "Partners in Pink" day on October 27, according to a press release.
All Cintas employee-partners throughout North America were encouraged to participate by wearing pink, the release noted.
Employee-partners also had the opportunity to purchase items from Cintas "Knots for Hope" neckwear collection, along with pink T-shirts, polos and blouses, the release stated.
According to the release, the Pink-Wear campaign raised over $23,000 with all proceeds benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
"Breast cancer has touched the lives of thousands of our employee-partners in some way," said Scott Farmer, chief executive officer (CEO) of Cintas Corporation.
"The ''Knots for Hope'' collection is just one example of how we can show our support and make even a greater impact by extending that product offering to our customers," Farmer added.
