ANAGO CLEANING SYSTEMS NAMED TOP FRANCHISE FOR MINORITIES
National Minority Franchising Initiative selects top 50 Franchises for 2010
Anago Cleaning Systems has been recognized by the NationalMinority Franchising Initiative for its exceptional minority participation. The Initiative evaluated franchise organizations on their percentage of minority owned units, as well as minority representation among senior management. Anago Cleaning Systems ranked in the top 10 of over 400 franchises surveyed.
Anago’s placement on this prestigious listing is a testament to their efforts to reach out to the minority community and recognize the great value they present to the country. Today, minorities account for more than 15% of franchisees across the country, according to the Initiative’s report.
Anago was founded in 1989 by David Povlitz, who operated a successful conventional janitorial company. After realizing the potential of the recession resistant commercial cleaning industry combined with the franchise business model, Anago was born. The first Master Franchise opened in 1995.
“Anago Cleaning Systems is proud of its commitment to the minority community. Long ago, we realized their strong work ethic, tenacity, and desire to live the American dream of owning their own business,” said Anago’s Chairman, David Povlitz. “Minority franchise owners are an integral part of Anago’s success, and will continue to be in the future”.
