FRAMINGHAM, MA — In today''s economy, facilities and building managers are under pressure to cut costs and do more with less, according to a press release.
Economic challenges over the last few years have helped to significantly reshape the industry: Today''s facilities and building managers are retooling to meet the demands of a profession that has become increasingly visible within the procurement supply chain and are focusing efforts on their overall sustainability goals and cost-containment efforts, the release stated.
As one of the only national cleaning and maintenance programs in the country through Staples Facility Solutions, Staples Advantage, the business-to-business division of Staples Inc., offers a look ahead at what trends may impact facilities and building professionals in 2011, the release noted.
