WOOD DALE, IL — Disaster Kleenup International Inc. (DKI), North America''s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, today announced that DKI has been selected as a 2010 drop off location for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program, according to a press release.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted, the release stated.
"DKI is proud to support such a worthy cause. When the economy is in such a fragile state, it is very important for us each to do our part and give back to our communities," said Dale Sailer, president of DKI.
DKI is supporting the efforts of the Toys for Tots Program by acting as a toy drop off location for the program, the release noted.
DKI''s staff decorated a large box that currently sits in the lobby of its national headquarters to accept toy donations, the release added.
