CORALVILLE, IA — New SERVPRO franchise owner Brian Meyer is trying to take the well-known local franchise to the next level, according to the North Liberty Leader.
Since taking over the 26-year-old Coralville home emergency restoration franchise last January, Meyer has expanded the staff from five to 15 people in order to increase the franchise''s coverage area and to offer new services such as non-emergency related carpet and duct cleaning, the article stated.
"We''re local, that''s what I preach. Everybody else comes out of Cedar Rapids," Meyer said.
"Now we''re trying to step it up and get more green in this town instead of yellow," Meyer added.
According to the article, the goal is to not only increase SERVPRO''s presence in the Corridor, but to expand its coverage area to the south and west, serving customers with emergency fire, flood and biohazard needs as far south as Ottumwa.
