FAIRBANKS, AK — A former janitor is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of electronics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks''
(UAF) Administrative Services Building, according to the Daily News-Miner
Jeremy I. Moore, 23, has been charged with three counts of second-degree theft, a felony, and seven misdemeanor counts of third and fourth-degree theft, the article stated.
UAF police first received a report September 21 that items were being taken from the College Road building, though court documents allege some of the thefts go back to July 2010, the article noted.
Acording to the article, it was in mid-July that Moore was hired by ABM
, the university''s janitorial contractor.
The items initially reported stolen included a Macintosh desktop worth nearly $2,000 and a projector worth more than $1,100, as well as an iPhone, iPod Touch, laser pointer and an external hard drive, the article added.
