TROY, NY — Police are cautioning residents at the city''s senior housing complexes after a man who posed as a maintenance worker took property from residents at three apartments, according to the Times Union.
Police are looking for the man who knocked on the doors of two apartments in Troy Towers and one in Kennedy Towers and identified himself as a maintenance worker, the article stated.
When he was let in, he walked through the apartments and took items without the residents noticing, the article noted.
According to the article, the man did not display a weapon, use force, threaten or injure the residents.
