ALBANY, NY — The Cleaning Industry Research Institute International (CIRI) has announced new dates for its 2011 Cleaning Science Symposium, "Green Cleaning & Science," according to a press release.
The event will be held at the Georgia Institute of Technology Conference Center in Atlanta, April 27-29, the release noted.
"The program will focus on cleaning efficacy, health and hygiene implications accruing to or absent from green cleaning and the green movement. Its interactive format will allow attendees to get involved through panel discussions and breakout sessions," said Jim Harris, Sr., CIRI chairman.
"In an effort to present the best possible symposium we decided to broaden the scope of the program, implement a new format and move to a larger facility that will better accommodate the participants," Harris added.
The symposium agenda will include panel discussions that address numerous topics including how the success of the "green cleaning" movement be measured and the environmental, economic and health benefits and tradeoffs that are associated with cleaning programs "going green," the release stated.
