ATLANTA — Georgia-Pacific Professional, a leading manufacturer of shop towels, industrial wipers and other away-from-home products, is launching a contest to honor America’s best workers, according to a press release.
The Brawny Industrial Great American Worker contest is looking for top individuals throughout the country who combine a history of workplace safety and high work productivity with a commitment to community involvement, the release stated.
"We are excited to host this contest and give workers across the country the opportunity to be recognized for their achievements both in their workplace and in their community," said Ken Smith, vice president of the wiper category.
"Georgia-Pacific Professional is dedicated to creating personal relationships with its customers and acknowledging its top users who continue to keep America running," Smith added.
Nominations will be accepted until June 30, 2011, and can be submitted by visiting the contest website, the release noted.
