Seventh Generation names CEO

BURLINGTON, VT — Seventh Generation has named John Replogle to serve as the company''s chief executive officer (CEO) and president, according to a press release.
Replogle, 45, has served since January 2006 as president and CEO of Burt''s Bees, the leading Earth-friendly, natural personal care products company, the release noted.
Peter Graham, Seventh Generation''s chairman, said that the Seventh Generation board unanimously selected Replogle based on his track record leading a complex organization, his demonstrated commitment to corporate responsibility, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities, the release stated.
"John came to our attention because of his strong execution skills, his proven ability to lead top performing teams and his track record in championing and embracing sustainability," said Graham.
"As we got to know John, we were impressed by his understanding of the role of culture in a company''s success and his personal integrity. We are thrilled to have someone of John''s caliber, background and proven passion for the company vision and mission leading our community forward," Graham continued.
