Hill & Markes 30th Trade Show
Hill & Markes Inc is pleased to announce their 30th annual Trade Show on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Turning Stone Casino, Verona, New York. The trade show will feature Food Service with a focus on products for operating a seasonal ice cream business. Farm Products are a newer addition to the show. Industrial Janitorial Products will be displayed with hands on demonstrations throughout the day. Office Supplies are for everyone and a helpful display will be shown. Brand new, this year is Industrial Packaging Products. During the day, specials will be plentiful with one day only pricing on many items included at the show.
Nationally recognized speakers will present seminars. Kelly McDonald will be addressing “Achieving Excellence in Your Multigenerational Workforce” at 10:00. To her credit, she has presented to Toyota, Sherwin-Williams, Harley-Davidson, and State Farm Insurance, Mattel, AAA Travel, BlueCross BlueShield and dozens of financial organizations and associations.rix
Mark Leichman will focus on information for the customer who has an ice cream business, “Getting the Most Out of Your Ice Cream Business” at 11:30. He is well recognized in the industry. For more than ten years with MaggieMoo''s International, Mark acted as a Director of R&D, Operations, Design, and Construction, creating national award winning ice cream flavors. During that time, Mark also created the Ice Cream Cupcake, featured on the Food Network show "Unwrapped", and developed their smoothie program, featured on CNBC''s "Squawk Box", and created their ice cream cake program. Mark''s food service background includes stints with Fuddruckers, Sbarro''s and Boston Market, at which he was a certified trainer and new store opener, responsible for hiring and training all personnel.
An opportunity for two prizes will be available. There will be a drawing for an I Pad for those who have pre registered. Pre registration is highly recommended since this entitles participants to the drawing for the I Pad and speeds up the entrance process. A 50” flat screen TV is the other prize at the show.
