The four-day event will feature a trade show, speakers, educational sessions and networking events for professionals in the snow and ice industry, the release noted.
"After heavy snow seasons in many areas, snow removal education is becoming increasingly important. SIMA is working hard to provide another great show full of up-to-date information for industry professionals," says Jennifer Hallett, SIMA director of education and certification.
"We are looking forward to presenting some new programs and ideas in Schaumburg," Hallett added.
New for the 2011 Symposium will be a day-long Snow Management Efficiency Workshop, which will feature an eye-opener session, and then allow attendees to visit with experts at numerous stations to hear short presentations, case studies and helpful tips on being efficient in various areas of snow and ice management, the release stated.
