MUSKEGON, MI — A different company will be handling janitorial and cleaning services of Muskegon County''s buildings, according to Muskegon Chronicle.
Following a handful of years of difficulties with cleaning services, county officials this year used a new rating system in deciding which of the eight janitorial bid packages to select, the article noted.
County commissioners last week followed a staff recommendation to award the bid to Knight Facilities Management of Saginaw, the article stated.
According to the article, although not the lowest bid, Knight Facilities Management''s proposal was deemed the best, based on the combination of its qualifications, costs and an interview.
