ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — Tom Taff, a project manager with J.C. Restoration''s structure division, was recently recognized for his fundraising work since 1998 on behalf of a children''s camp for burn survivors, according to a press release.

Taff received the Mary Potter Humanitarian Award from the Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation on February 5 at the foundation''s Crystal Heart Ball at the Field Museum in Chicago, the release noted.

Since 1998, Taff has led the collection of $1 million for Bucks For Burn, an astonishing grassroots effort that has enabled hundreds of children to attend, free of charge, a camp for burn survivors in Lake County, IL, the release stated.

"He certainly mirrors the mission of Little Company of Mary and the foundress, Mary Potter, who sought to provide compassionate care to the sick and dying," said Maureen Harrigan, special events coordinator and auxiliary for the Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation.
