NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A custodian has been charged for allegedly making a bomb threat at the school, according to The Providence Journal.

After being arraigned on Friday, Charles B. Smith, 39, a custodian for the Davisville Middle School, has been ordered not to have contact with anyone at the school, the article noted.

"We are taking all necessary legal and administrative action to ensure that this behavior will not happen again," said Phil Thornton, superintendent of schools.

According to the article, another custodian called in a hand-written threat on a bathroom stall that indicated a bomb would go off at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
