Tuesday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: We have a problem cleaning water spots off tub and shower glass surrounds. Someone even suggested, of all things, oven cleaner.

To remove mineral deposits from glass, porcelain and chrome you will need a safe acidic cleaner - normally phosphoric acid formulated as a lime and scale remover.
