ALBANY, NY — The Cleaning Industry Research Institute International (CIRI) has announced it has further extended its deadline through April 15 for the discount registration fee and booking of hotel rooms for its 2011 Cleaning Science Symposium, according to a press release.
The event is being held at the Georgia Institute of Technology Conference Center in Atlanta, April 27-29, the release noted.
According to the release, the program will focus on the science and research needed to underpin green cleaning, its efficacy, performance, green labeling, impact on health and hygiene, plus their economic and business implications.
"Cleaning industry executives shouldn''t miss this opportunity to explore the in-depth relationship between green cleaning and science," said Jim Harris, Sr., CIRI chairman.
"Our objective with the symposium is to summarize the critical issues between green cleaning, science and technology. This will lay the groundwork for CIRI to suggest new solutions and partner with others to develop means for achieving success in effective cleaning and measurement," added Dr. Steven Spivak, CIRI science advisor.
