LA janitors protest job cuts

LOS ANGELES — In an effort to cut the budget, many county hospitals in LA are planning to cut janitorial staff, according to KABC-TV.

With drums and picket signs, hundreds of citizens (including dozens of janitors) showed up outside the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration to protest the alleged cuts, according to the article.

The plan is supposed to be looked at by supervisors next Tuesday, the article reported.
