Regional finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year named

ATLANTA — Zep Inc. has announced that John K. Morgan, chairman, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Atlanta-based company, has been named a regional finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, according to a press release.

The awards competition, held since 1986, recognizes leaders of successful, growing and dynamic businesses, the release stated.

"I am honored to represent Zep Inc. and be among the select group of regional finalists chosen by Ernst & Young for this year''s award," said Morgan.

"This recognition belongs to all Zep associates who contribute every day toward our continuing profitable growth and overall success of the company. I am very proud to be part of this team and to represent them as a finalist for the Alabama/Georgia/Tennessee program," Morgan added.

According to the release, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year is the world''s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs.
