CHAPELL HILL, NC — The University of North Carolina (UNC) has hired an independent consulting firm in an attempt to end a year''s worth of labor disputes, according to The Daily Tar Heel.
In March, UNC officials hired the PRM Consulting Group to help identify problems within the housekeeping culture, the article stated.
According to the article, while the firm will be looking at the disputed scheduling changes and the hotly contested "sit-down policy," they will also be looking into claims of sexual harassment.
The consulting firm will be interviewing all housekeeping employees confidentially and should have a report by July or August, the article stated.
