ATLANTA — Time is running out to nominate the nation''s best workers for the Brawny Industrial Great American Worker contest, according to a press release.
Georgia-Pacific Professional is looking for the unsung, hardworking heroes of America; the people who stay until the job gets done right — no matter what it takes, the release stated.
According to the release, nominations will be accepted until June 30, 2011, and can be submitted by visiting the contest website.
"This contest is a great way to give workers across the country the opportunity to be recognized for their achievements both in their workplace and in their community," said Ken Smith, vice president of the wiper category.
"We encourage interested participants to submit nominations before the deadline and look forward to announcing the 2011 Brawny Industrial Great American Worker in the upcoming months," Smith added.
The individual named the Brawny Industrial Great American Worker will receive a Ford F-150 truck, the release noted.
