GAINESVILLE, VA — Mold Aid has launched a new site to help educate customers on the dangers of mold, according to a press release.

Mold Aid recently launched and a Facebook page to better serve customers, the release stated.

According to the release, the site includes information on how to choose a qualified mold remediation company, the health risks that come from prolonged mold exposure and information about how local regulations can affect buildings in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.

"As we meet customers, we realize that many people are uneducated about mold and what it can do to people who are exposed to mold long term. Mold can cause serious health problems, including chronic sinusitis and other respiratory problems, headaches, dizzy spells, allergic reactions, hives and more,” said John Taylor, owner of Mold Aid National Inc.

"Exposure to what''s known as toxic mold can be more serious, leading to neurological problems and even death in severe cases. We''re thrilled when a customer comes back and tells us how much our mold remediation plan changed their lives and we hope they''ll visit our Facebook page to let us know how they''re doing," Taylor added.
