Crockett Facilities Services wins contract

BOWIE, MD — Crockett Facilities Services Inc. (CFSI) has announced that it has received a five-year, $14 million contract from the U.S. Department of State to provide facilities management, operations and maintenance services to two commercial buildings located in Washington, according to a press release.

CFSI''s scope of work includes on-site project management, equipment operations, preventive/predictive maintenance, equipment watches/tours/repairs, service calls, architectural/structural systems, building alterations and escort services, the release stated.

According to the release, as part of the competitive bid process, CFSI''s request for proposal (RFP) included administrative, financial and technical components.

"It is rewarding to be selected for this contract based on providing ''best value'' to the government," said Mark Crockett, vice president of Crockett Facilities Services.

"We appreciate the opportunity to further our 10-year relationship with the U.S. Department of State, ensuring their mission-critical facilities are operating smoothly, safely and efficiently, with comfortable work environments," Crockett added.
