CHARLOTTE, NC — Swisher Hygiene Inc. has announced that it has acquired Hospitality and Health care Chemical Systems (HCS), a Cincinnati-based division of Washing Systems LLC, and GJB Services Inc.''s Country Linen brand, an Idaho-based linen and dust control company, according to a press release.

HCS primarily services the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. and is focused on the needs of on-premise laundry facilities, hospitals and other health care facilities, the release stated.

According to the release, Country Linen covers the greater Boise market and provides facilities services such as the processing and delivery of linen and dust control products to the health care and hospitality industries.

"We continue to build our presence in the linen and specialty chemical industries, and today''s acquisitions will help us further expand our laundry and health care expertise," said Steven R. Berrard, chief executive officer (CEO) of Swisher Hygiene.

"We are very pleased to add the customer base and knowledge brought to us by HCS and Country Linen and to provide additional opportunities to cross-sell our full service offerings to new and existing customers," Berrard added.
