OAKLAND, CA — Carl C. Icahn stepped up his fight with Clorox on Friday, threatening to replace the company''s entire board with his own candidates, according to the New York Times.

In a letter to Clorox, Icahn named a full slate of 11 directors, which included himself, his son, Brett, a top lieutenant, Vincent J. Intrieri and A. B. Krongard, a former executive director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the article stated.

According to the article, while Clorox has said they would review the proposed candidates, the company also said, "We believe that Mr. Icahn is nominating candidates solely to advance his own agenda."

Icahn''s latest move comes just a day after he lost a proxy fight with another company, the pharmaceutical maker Forest Laboratories, the article noted.
