WISCONSIN DELLS, WI — The city council is moving ahead with looking into the privatization of certain city services, including janitorial, according to Wisconsin Dells Events.

The finance committee has authorized meetings between Mayor Brian Landers and the city unions to discuss moving to private contracts, the article stated.

According to the article, the city would first look at a private contract for trash collection.

The city council ensures that no employees would need to be laid off if they do in fact move towards private contracts, the article noted.
