BRIDGEPORT, CT — Unger Industrial teamed up with Save the Sound for National Estuaries Day on September 24, according to a press release.

Unger proudly presented Nifty Nabbers and Baggers — collapsible trash bins — to over 75 Save the Sound volunteers, ranging from local residents to attendees of nearby colleges, who collected truckloads of trash, the release stated.

According to the release, Unger developed a relationship with Save the Sound — a non-profit program of Connecticut Fund for the Environment — in recent weeks when a member of the marketing department saw a news segment of volunteers picking up trash at local beaches.

Unger hopes to partner with Save the Sound again on future projects and donated Nifty Nabbers for future events, the release noted.
