KELLER, TX — The Keller Independent School District (KISD) is working tirelessly to prevent an outbreak of methicillin resistant staphyloccus aureus (MRSA) infections, according to DFW-TV.

On Monday the district reported an employee at Florence Elementary school had contracted the infection, the article stated.

According to the article, parents were sent a letter notifying them of the situation and reminding students to wash their hands frequently and to avoid sharing items that may spread the infection.

To help stave off a potential outbreak, the district is cleaning and disinfecting classrooms at the school every night, the article noted.
