CINCINNATI — The Field Museum in Chicago has won the 10th annual Cintas America''s Best Restroom Award, according to a press release.
The winner was determined by the Internet public who cast online ballots in the contest presented by Cintas Corporation, the release stated.
According to the release, the 2011 contest attracted nominations from a wide range of businesses, including restaurants, hotels and museums; 10 finalists were selected based on exceptional hygiene, style, public accessibility and usability.
"The Field Museum is honored to receive this award," said The Field Museum''s Vice President of Finance Jim Croft, who oversaw the redesign of the bathroom.
"Host to over 1.3 million visitors each year, the Museum strives to give visitors the best service and exhibitions; we also feel this about the amenities and we are pleased to offer our guests these unique restrooms," Croft added.
