CINCINNATI — xpedx representatives will share their expertise regarding a variety of sustainability solutions and cost-reduction strategies specifically designed for facility managers during the 2011 International Facility Management Association (IFMA) World Workplace 2011 Conference & Expo, taking place October 26-28 in Phoenix, according to a press release.
"Facility managers are frequently challenged to reduce costs while maintaining the cleanliness of their facilities," said Michael Feenan, vice president of Facility Solutions at xpedx.
"At the IFMA Conference, we will provide attendees with information on environmentally-preferable cleaning products and solutions as well as the newest, most cost-effective cleaning methods," Feenan added.
In addition to providing expertise on cleaning strategies and sustainability, xpedx representatives will discuss how facility managers can achieve a variety of certifications, the release stated.
According to the release, with more than 100 employees now approved as ISSA Certified Experts (ICE), xpedx offers consultative services regarding Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) certifications.
