Window cleaner injured in fall

DAVENPORT, IA — A window cleaner fell 20 feet from a scaffold, suffering a broken leg, according to the Quad-City Times.

Jeremy Griffin, 33, was working in high winds when he attached a guide wire to the scaffolding and his van to keep the scaffolding from swaying, the article stated.

According to the article, another vehicle, passing Griffin''s van, struck the guide wire, sending Griffin plunging to the ground.

Griffin was taken to Genesis Medical Center where he received treatment for a compound fracture of his leg, the article noted.
