TORONTO — The contemporary and spacious washrooms at e11even are the most royal in all the land and the winner of the 2nd annual Canada''s Best Restroom contest, according to a press release.
The 2011 contest attracted nominations from a wide range of businesses, including restaurants, hotels, convention centers and even a car dealership, the release stated.
According to the release, e11even’s contemporary and spacious washrooms were designed by members of the world renowned New York design firm, The Rockwell Group.
Ensuring the luxury and intimate ambiance of the restaurant was infused into the restrooms, guests are able to relax and indulge in a private space with finishes such as rich marble tiling from floor to ceiling, modern sink basins, elegant mosaic tile accents and hygienic Toto Washlets, the release noted.
"We are thrilled to receive this honor," said Steven Salm, e11even''s general manager.
"It is especially gratifying since it was the public that made the final decision. When we designed e11even, we took great pride and care to make sure that no detail went unattended. While it may not always be top of mind when dining, we feel that the restroom is an integral part of the overall design," Salm added.
