CASTLEGAR, BC — Mounties say that, just weeks before Christmas, hundreds of greeting cards and packages have been stolen, according to CTVBC.
After receiving numerous complaints about missing mail, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) began investigating a sorting station, the article stated.
According to the article, a 36-year-old janitor has been arrested as a result of the investigation.
The janitor faces 14 charges of mail theft, but investigators believe there could be dozens more victims, the article noted.
The RCMP are asking anyone who was supposed to receive cards or packages and did not to contact authorities, the article added.
