PARKERSBURG, WV — Wood County commissioners have awarded a bid for janitorial services in the new justice center, according to the News and Sentinel.
Two bids for the contract were received, one from SW Resources and the other from Winans Services, the article stated.
According to the article, Winans currently holds the contracts to several other county buildings, which made the decision easier.
"We had discussed hiring additional personnel to provide the services, but Winans already provides the service and the contract includes all the materials and equipment," said commission president Blair Couch.
