Thursday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: I need know how to estimate the cost for cleaning elevator windows on the inside of a glass hoistway of a building. And also, how much is a fair market price for this service in the southeastern region?

You may have gotten a more detailed answer by inquiring on a window cleaners’ forum from someone who commonly does this work, but here is my general take. Any work you do is to make a profit, money beyond the actual expenses involved which includes your salary. To do this, you must price the work according to its time and expenses.
