Nichols offers sustainability classes

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Nichols Paper and Supply is offering sustainability classes to help companies make their facilities greener, according to The Grand Rapids Press.

The sessions will be geared toward facility managers who are responsible for protecting the health of both building occupants and the environment, the article stated.

The next session, "Speed Greening Your Facilities," will be offered on March 13 from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. local time, the article noted.

According to the article, featured topics will include:

• Waste and recycling
• Building a culture of sustainability in your organization
• Best practices and tools for greening your facility
• The latest in lighting technology.

The session will be held at Calvin College in Grand Rapids with another half-day morning session to be held March 28 at University of Michigan''s Dearborn campus, the article added.
