LOUISVILLE, KY — If the Bullitt County school board elects to outsource custodial services, nearly 80 people will be out of a job, according to WDRB-TV.
The superintendent and custodians met on Wednesday to discuss the district''s desire to solicit bids from private companies, the article stated.
According to the article, the district believes it can save more than $200,000 by outsourcing services.
The school board will vote on the proposition on Tuesday, with a decision on whether or not jobs will be cut coming no later than April, the article noted.
