Authorities point to janitor in thefts

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A janitor has been arrested in the theft of more than 40 laptop computers from biotech company Genetech, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Dionisio Dauz was arrested on February 7 for allegedly stealing the computers from the South San Francisco-based biotech firm, the article stated.

According to the article, surveillance video links Dauz to the thefts that have occurred since February 2011 until his arrest.

The stolen laptops were allegedly shipped overseas to family members, the article noted.
