LEANDER, TX — Almost $140,000 that was stolen by former custodians from the Leander Independent School District has been recovered, according to KVUE-TV.
The recovery was made after three former school employees plead guilty to charges of theft, the article stated.
According to the article, Michael Daniel Madrigal was sentenced to 10 years in prison; Rafael Munoz was sentenced to five; and Zolia Munoz was sentenced to one year.
A fourth employee has not yet agreed to a plea deal, the article noted.
