JOHNSTOWN, PA — Students, faculty and staff from the Johnstown Christian School have pulled together to raise money for one of their own, according to The Tribune-Democrat.

By holding bake sales and various other events, the school is raising money to help custodian Michael DelGrosso as his infant daughter as she recovers from heart surgery, the article stated.

According to the article, after learning of problems with the pregnancy, fourth-grade teacher Marsha Carr brought up the matter at a school meeting.

"We started to brainstorm and came up with the idea of having bake sales on Wednesdays at the elementary school," said Carr.

Elementary students were especially excited to help out and have named their project Pastries for Presley, which is DelGrosso''s daughter''s name, the article noted.
