PHILADELPHIA — SCA, the parent company of the Tork brand, has once again been named one of the world''s most ethical companies by the American Ethisphere Institute, while also earning a spot on Fortune magazine''s list of "World''s Most Admired Companies," according to a press release.
Ethisphere recognizes companies that go beyond the ordinary and demonstrate that business ethics are decisive for a company''s brand and profitability, the release stated.
According to the release, Fortune''s World''s Most Admired Companies list is the definitive report card on corporate reputations; since 1997, the Hay Group has collaborated with Fortune annually to identify, select and rank the World''s Most Admired Companies and uncover the business practices that make them highly regarded among their peers.
"SCA is proud to be recognized by both Ethisphere and Fortune magazine again this year," said Don Lewis, president of SCA Americas.
"SCA employees, and the company as a whole, have a passion for ensuring ethical behavior, social responsibility and creating the highest quality of products for customers and consumers," Lewis.
