FREEMONT, NH — Ten percent of students at the Ellis School have been sick since last Wednesday, according to WMUR-TV.

New Hampshire Public Health Director Dr. Jose Montero has determined that the school is suffering from a particularly nasty outbreak of norovirus, the article stated.

"If you are sick or if your kids are sick, don''t sent them to school because they''re going to infect a lot of people. So, if your kid has diarrhea or is vomiting, you need to keep that kid home at least 24 to 48 hours until they get better," said Montero.

According to the article, school officials have had staff hard at work disinfecting desks, tables and chairs in the school and airing the building out.
