Date Finalized For Second Property Industry Conference

Wood Dale, IL – The second Property Industry Conference is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 15, 2012 in Orlando, FL. The goal of the Property Industry Conference is to help bridge the gap between the restoration industry and the insurance industry.

The Inaugural Property Industry Conference meeting took place on January 22, 2012 in Austin, TX. There were roughly 60 individuals in attendance for some portion of the first meeting in Austin, and the attendees represented most segments of the larger industry – insurers, restorers, TPAs, franchises, associations, software companies, manufacturers, training organizations, consultants, estimating companies, media, and assorted other providers of services.

The overwhelming feedback, both at the conclusion of the meeting and in subsequent emails and conversations, is that the PIC concept has merit and is worth pursuing. The next Property Industry Conference will take place prior to the PLRB Conference on April 15, 2012 in Orlando, FL from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Participation in the Property Insurance Conference is open to anyone. All are invited; no one is excluded. The PIC does not have as its objective to benefit any one party or market segment. Its objective is to raise all boats by facilitating and addressing those issues that create inefficiencies for all of us. As a result, the PIC should not be a threat to any company or organization; indeed, it should make all participants more effective in whatever their organizations do every day.

The one day meeting will be facilitated by, and will begin promptly at 8:00 am on April 15. It is open to all participants in the industry and there is a $40 fee to cover the cost of the facilitator and meeting space.
