IICRC, RIA approve TBU class for CECs

CHICAGO — The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) have both decided to award valuable continuing education credits (CECs) to attendees of Totally Booked University’s Restoration Strategy and Marketing for Domination workshop, according to a press release.

The IICRC will award two CECs to attendees, while the RIA will award 14 credit hours, the release stated.

The event is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, May 31-June 1, and will include topics such as social media marketing, Internet marketing, critical issues in restoration, insurance claims, dealing and negotiating with adjusters, assignment of benefits and much more, the release noted.

This TBU seminar will be facilitated by Pete Consigli, a veteran industry advisor, and will include presentations from Cleanfax magazine Senior Editor Jeff Cross, independent adjuster Peter Crosa and attorney Harvey Cohen, the release added.
