Wednesday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: I currently have a window cleaning account that needs to be done once a week. It is about 1050 square feet; what is a reasonable price to charge per square foot?

You have got to determine this for yourself. The key question is: How long does it take you to clean this window? Then, How much do you need to earn per hour to pay the bills? The ISSA Cleaning Times booklet says you can do 100 sq. ft. in about 10 minutes with a brush and squeegee. That seems slow to me since that represents one side of a 10’ x10’ glass pane.
