New Facebook Site for Sustainablity Dashboard Tools

Bloomington, IN – Sustainability Dashboard Tools, a Web-based system that allows businesses and facilities to reduce operating costs by better managing and monitoring their use of natural resources, announces the launch of its new Facebook page.

According to Elizabeth Steward, Business Support Manager for the Dashboard, the Facebook page has been planned for a while “and is designed to help everyone [in a facility] become more sustainability focused, creating what we call a culture of sustainablity.”

Steward adds the Dashboard’s will feature a variety of information and articles on sustainability issues as well as tips and suggestions on how to most effectively use the Dashboard system.

Recent studies by the MIT Sloan Management Review and the Boston Consulting Group indicate that more and more corporate leaders view operating their businesses in a more sustainable manner as an investment because it can help lower costs and make them more competitive.

“The Dashboard is designed to simply measure their progress and help them along the way,” explains Steward. “Measuring and monitoring is key to becoming more sustainable. We invite everyone to ‘like’ us on Facebook.”
