DAVIDSON, NC — JanPak Inc. hosted a symposium that brought together the company''s top healthcare specialists for an intensive three-day session, according to a press release.
The 2012 Healthcare Symposium was designed to educate the company''s healthcare specialists on key trends taking place in the industry and equip them with the critical knowledge necessary to address needs facing infection prevention, environmental services and strategic sourcing, the release stated.
According to the release, the symposium featured Connie Steed, director of infection prevention at Greenville Hospital System, who led a session that focused on reducing hospital-associated infections (HAIs).
"With reform looming and the on-going changes taking place in healthcare, the 2012 Healthcare Symposium was a great opportunity for us to bring our team of healthcare specialists together and equip them to address the needs facing our customers," said Brian Morabito, JanPak director of national accounts, healthcare.
