WASHINGTON — The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) has named K-tech Kleening Systems as one of 68 NADCA member companies to receive the 2011 Safety Award, according to a press release.

NADCA created the NADCA Safety Awards Program to recognize those companies that have sustained superior employee safety and health program results, the release stated.

According to the release, the requirements for NADCA''s Safety Awards are based on standards from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

K-tech Kleening Systems was recognized for "its outstanding safety record of non-fatal occupational injury and illness incidence rates in 2009, 2010 and 2011, which were calculated to be less than the industry average using standardized formulas developed by the National Safety and Health Council," the release noted.
