WOOD DALE, IL — Disaster Kleenup International Inc. (DKI) has announced that K-Tech Kleening Systems, headquartered in Weston, Wisconsin, has been named as one of 68 National Air Duct Cleaner Association (NADCA) member companies to receive a 2011 Safety Award, according to a press release.
This honor was awarded to show that K-tech Kleening Systems is dedicated to ensuring the safety of its employees and clients, the release stated.
According to the release, the National Air Duct Cleaners Association created the NADCA Safety Awards Program to recognize those companies that have sustained superior employee safety and health program results.
K-tech Kleening Systems was one of 41 companies to qualify for the Outstanding Safety Award, which is given to members that have met the strict guidelines of the program for three or more consecutive years, the release noted.
K-tech Kleening Systems was recognized for "its outstanding safety record of non-fatal occupational injury and illness incidence rates in 2009, 2010 and 2011, which were calculated to be less than the industry average using standardized formulas developed by the National Safety and Health Council," the release added.
